PinExt Custom Wedding Albums Are Worth The Wait!

Custom Wedding Albums do take awhile to be designed and printed and in the hands of clients. This is due to many factors. Not all of which are the photographer/designers fault.
So all future bride and grooms, here are some factors to consider.

1. After your wedding photos are all done and you receive that precious disk, many, but not all couples will scrupulously go over every detail of them and then what? I think they must shelve them if they are anything like I was. I mean really, there is so much leading up to the wedding day, then honey moon, then thank you cards, that once you get all the essentials done you just want to relax. I get it. Then perhaps you are back into your daily routine, or you have a new baby. Either way, many times that disk and the credits that were purchased with so much excitement go by the way side and are forgotten. Many photographers will contract the due date for orders if couples want to take advantage of their credits. I have recently adopted this as well, since a couple that comes to me years after the fact expecting to get that album I showed them 3 years ago, will many times be out of luck. I don’t even carry in most cases those products or if I do, I guarantee they are costing me more and therefore costing you more. This is primary reason number one for late products.

2. When we do get your order we are many times super busy. I made the mistake of making my due date 1 year from wedding date‚Ķduh! So you can guess what happened for me this year. And likely next as I didn’t figure this out till after all THOSE contracts have been signed. So right in my busiest time of year I have all these back and forth emails and product orders on my table. It gets hectic to say the least. Or many photographers feel that christmas time crunch. And well meaning couples will try to get those orders before christmas but forget the fact that A. we have more than your product to work on B. We need to have it ordered in time for it to be printed, shipped to us, and then shipped to you before the Dec 24 deadline. Which is actually the 22 or something, I forget when the mail man goes on holidays.

3. I like to design a couple pages and send them off to my couples do double check I’m on the right track. If they don’t like what they see its much easier to adjust a couple pages than 20, and the conversing back and forth gets very confusing. So I like to do a little at a time.

In any case here is the latest one to be uploaded to the printer in the sky icon smile Custom Wedding Albums Are Worth The Wait! I really did enjoy doing this album. Designing keeps me relevant and my skills sharp. And This couple is one of my faves, and I loved working with them.
